What converting a deck actually does
A PDF captures each slide as it appears at the end of its build. Anything that only exists in motion — transitions, animations, timed builds, embedded video — flattens into the final state of the slide. Presentations lean on fonts harder than documents do, because text sits in fixed-size boxes where a substituted font can overflow or wrap badly. The server carries the Liberation and DejaVu families, which are metric-compatible with Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New — decks built on standard fonts convert exactly. If your deck uses a downloaded display font, check the result for text that has reflowed.
