How to use Merge PDF

What happens to the pages
Every page in the output is fitted to A4 — portrait or landscape, whichever matches that page's own shape — and scaled proportionally to fit. Nothing is stretched, squashed or cropped, so a page that started as US Letter or A5 arrives centred on an A4 sheet rather than distorted to fill it.
At the default 100% quality setting, PDF pages are copied across as real vector content rather than being turned into pictures. Text stays selectable and searchable, and the file size of the merged document stays roughly the sum of the originals. If you also need the result to be smaller, lower the Compress slider before merging — but note that compressing rasterises the pages, so use it only when a size limit demands it.
Mixing PDFs and photos
The same tool accepts JPG and PNG files alongside PDFs, so a scanned document and a phone photo can go into one file together. Images are placed on their own A4 page at their original quality, in whatever position you drag them to in the page list.
Questions people ask
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
No fixed limit. The work happens on your own device, so the practical ceiling is your device's memory. A laptop handles a few hundred pages comfortably; a phone will be slower with very large files.
Will the merged PDF have a watermark?
No. Nothing is added to your document — no watermark, no footer, no branding.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Merging runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, and there is nothing on our side to store or delete.
Can I change the page order after adding files?
Yes. Drag any page thumbnail to move it, and use the rotate and delete buttons on each one. The order you see is the order you get.
