How to use Image to PDF

How images are placed on the page
Each image gets its own A4 page — portrait for a tall photo, landscape for a wide one — and is scaled proportionally to fit, then centred. Aspect ratio is always preserved, so a photo is never stretched to fill the sheet.
Images have no built-in physical size, only pixels, so the tool assumes 96 DPI when converting pixel dimensions to PDF measurements. That is the common browser and desktop default and gives predictable, sensible results.
Quality
At the default 100% setting your images are embedded with their original bytes untouched — no re-encoding, no quality loss, no second round of JPEG artefacts. The PDF is essentially a container around the photos you already had. Lower the Compress slider only if you need the PDF to fit a size limit.
A common use: photos of documents
Phone photos of a multi-page document are a normal starting point for this tool. For the most readable result, shoot each page straight on in even light, then use the rotate control here to straighten anything that came out at 90 degrees before creating the PDF.

Which image formats can I use?
JPG, JPEG and PNG work everywhere. Other common formats that your browser can display generally work too.
Does converting reduce my photo quality?
Not at 100%. The original image data is embedded unchanged. Quality only drops if you deliberately lower the Compress slider.
Can I put several photos on one page?
Not with this tool — it makes one page per image. Use the Image Merge tool first to combine photos into a single picture, then convert that to PDF.
